Steps for Operation

1. Select appropriate specification based on patient trachea check.
2. Remove tube from protective sterile packaging.
3. Check main tube lumen patency prior to intubation.
4. Verify cuff, pilot balloon, and valve integrity using a Luer syringe.
5. Evacuate air completely after test inflation.
6. Intubate following standard medical techniques using a laryngoscope.
7. Inflate cuff to provide seal (pressure should not exceed 2.5kPa).
8. Fix the tube and periodically monitor cuff pressure.
9. Prior to extubation, fully deflate the cuff.
10. Dispose of the tube according to medical standards.

Contraindications

• Throat edema or acute inflammation of trachea.
• Tracheal compression of thoracic aortic aneurysm.
• Severe bleeding or cervical spinal injuries.
